Digital Video Editing


In the Digital Video Editing program you’ll be using digital media tools to create products to be used in a variety of ways, such as advertising and marketing materials and to tell stories using media tools. You’ll explore digital video
and audio production, web design and digital photography supporting courses in interpersonal communication, communication and technology, and mass media will provide needed background for working in the digital media world.

Sound Design


In the Sound in cinema program you’ll be learn in the form of dialogue, sound effects, and music, are as important to storytelling as the picture. Using industry-standard studios and technology, students learn the skills to effectively
record sound on location and in studio, master the technical expertise and aesthetic awareness needed to work as sound designers on feature films, television, web, digital games and live productions.






Course Objectives

In this Online Sound Design course you’ll learn all about Sound – from its history to its science & from recording to manipulating it. Through a curriculum developed by some of the most experienced sound designers in India,
we’ll teach you how to analyses the script, gather information and create a seamless movie experience for the audience.

This Online Sound Design course comprises of intensive topics such as Sound Recording and Recording Chain (Part I & II), Advance Aesthetics, Music in Film and Sound Post Production and Music delivered through video-based
lectures.

After you complete your certificate, you have the option of taking a work term to gain hands-on skills and work experience in communications.



Work experience option



You have the option of extending your program with an internship to gain real-world experience and connections that will help you start your career in communications. Normally the work term will be scheduled for the summer, following
the second academic term.

After completing your work term, you will graduate with a Certificate in Digital Video Editing/ Certificate in Sound Design – Internship Designation.

Admission criteria


  • No work experience is required to apply for any of the programs


  • It is recommended that applicants have cleared Xth grade or equivalent


  • All candidates need to have reading and speaking proficiency in English
